VS gave Modelina details surrounding the bra around that date, but we had the official catalogue picture of the bra and majority of the holiday pictures and the first Christmas cover on September 30th last year. It wasn't put on the site for real until a couple weeks later, but it was posted at BZ well before then.

Technically, Karolina didn't miss the 2008 commercial. She filmed it. VS just edited her out of the TV version. Alessandra on the other hand has gotten the short end of the stick a couple of times. She didn't do the 2004 or 2010 commercials. Based on her tweets she didn't film this year's commercial for as long as the other angels did. They were still shooting for another two days after she was back in the US getting snapped by paparazzi. Wonder if she'll get the "blink and you'll miss her treatment" again.

The details are back. They weren't there when I made my post this morning, so I guess it was a small glitch.

The more info portion announcing the models (or lack thereof) is no longer on the May 5th Calgary and Toronto store events on the VS Facebook page. Lily's info is still up for her NYC event though. Instead of saying a specific time for the signing, the time for the former Candice/Doutzen event just says "Thursday, May 5 at 9:30am - May 31 at 8:00pm" now with all of the specifics gone. Minor glitch, possible angel combination change, or signing cancellation all together?

I don't think they care. Monica has made it clear that she likes her models skinny, and they probably think she looks great. Because of her body shape and the way she poses, they can easily choose pictures that disguise her thinness, airbrush, or cover her up more in launches and pair her with the thinner angels. It's all about the VS bottom line.

At least Adriana turned to the side in this picture instead of straight ahead. In the straight on ones that I saw of her, it just wasn't a good look. I see VS pulled the old "put something on her stomach to disguise the thickness" trick with her too. Alessandra's body looks the best of the three. Thinking about how thin she got after she lost her baby weight, something is seriously wrong with that.

Models like Bar, Doutzen, Laetitia (and others) have threads that are twice as big as Candice's, and they don't have subforums.

I think the fact that it's local and not in the US plays a part on it. It might not even register on the radar over here outside of the fashion blogs and forums. It's probably not ideal for VS to have their models doing this, but maybe Alessandra and Adriana's contracts have been re-done in a way to where VS doesn't have the right to tell them no. I don't see how they can sue them either if they aren't infringing on the Victoria's Secret trademark. It's different from that Virgin Mobile thing. VS clearly sent word to the people running that to stop using the phrase "Victoria's Secret model" because press releases were changed. The wannabe VSFS can probably use whatever wings and stuff they want as long as they don't call them Victoria's Secret wings.

Maybe Adriana's contract was restructured too and that's why she gets to do the bootleg VSFS with Alessandra.

Second is Kate Upton.

Of the missing angels that aren't at this launch, Doutzen is the only one that she won't seem "big" standing beside. If they don't give her a flattering outfit (which this is not), then she'll seem just as big standing beside Alessandra or Miranda too.

She usually sounds high too. I've just accepted it as her stoner steez. #TeamNotAFan I think the more successful Candice gets - particularly in areas that don't involve panties and bikinis - the more her true personality will come out. I've always thought that the shy, innocent thing was nothing more than an act, but people have been eating it up. Her stans are almost as bad as Adriana's. I don't think Candice's weight loss is just because of high fashion work. I first noticed it last September with the NY Bombshell launch. She was as small as Lily even back then, and she wasn't doing anything but random non-VS swimwear.

I think Chanel is naturally that tiny. It's probably just her genetic make-up to be that petite. Candice has clearly lost weight. Her hips and extreme posing just disguise her thinness. So you think Erin is the only one who looks good, but Lily looks good too?

Lily = Looks amazing. Thrilled that they finally gave her a different hairstyle other than the waves. Erin = They've got to do something to her to make her pop at these things. The body looks great though. Adriana = Looks like "The Big One," and she isn't particularly big at all. She has a thick torso, and the tight dresses just aren't flattering when she has to stand next to smaller models. Candice = Looks just as skinny as Chanel at this point. Chanel = She was rocking major bitchface at this launch.
