Kliuvert blames Shearer for the reason he failed at Newcastle, this is not the first someone has blamed Shearer, as I think Rijkaard said the same thing when he was coaching Newcastle

from channel4.com : Inter sweet on Cassano Tuesday 29 November, 2005 Inter have given their clearest indication yet that they want to sign Antonio Cassano in January. "I would welcome him with open arms," said Roberto Mancini. The Cassano contract dispute rumbles on and with no sign of the player wanting to extend his contract, the Giallorossi are subsequently now keen to dispense with their enfant terrible. Relations between club and player have improved slightly, however, with Cassano making a scoring return to the side against Strasbourg in the UEFA Cup on Thursday and playing against Fiorentina at the weekend. But it seems that Roma have simply put the 24-year-old in the shop window in order to get some sort of return on their

it was harder though back then. they didn't have the nice footballs which they had now. they used the big hevay leather ones which are much harder to hit, curl, control and do skills with (in fact in some cases the leather balls have been implicated in brain damage of ex-players who used to head it lots). also, there were much harder tackles and way fewer fouls . . . i would say that now that it is more professional, there may be more organisation but that for creative players it was much harder in the olf days . . . George Best would be awesome now. if he could do that then then think of what he'd be like now!! he'd be dribbling past everyone and scoring some lovely goals as well as winning a tonne of free kicks and stuff. True that. The equipment they use nowadays is much better. Did anyone watch the Brasil v France FIFA Centenary match? Zidane was sweating like a pig wearing the old "jerseys" and about Georgie, don't forget the booze and the birds I remember watching that match you couldn't see any dry parts on Zidane's jersey it was all wet That was probably one of the best 0-0 draws I've seen in my life. And that moment when Zidane was running back and received the ball on his chest and controlled it...that was How the hell do you do such a thing running back? It was amazing skill though maybe it had something to do with Zidane's wet jersey

Wasn't Philippe Mexes suppose to be the new Blanc? The guy is horrible, another red card (which is his third or fourth in not even two years) and he gave away a penalty shot

why'd you say that Ed? why? you're my hero and you say something dirty like poop. poop mouth. just kiddin' from what i have seen he was amazing. when you consider that he was European Footballer of The Year at the age of 22 then you realise that he must have been pretty special. i think that it's tragic that such a skillful football player succumbed to alcoholism and died at such an early age in the way that he did. i just think that it's a very very sad for football and for the Best family and his close friends. i really feel for them all . . . this is sad day for football everyone I have talked to who has seen Best play says he was the greatest player ever to come out of the Britain some of the stuff he did even surpassed Pele and Cruyff to be fair . . . it was such a shame that he retired at the age of 28 and that life treated him in such a way . . . Even Maradona had kind words: "Best inspired me" http://www.goal.com/NewsDetail.aspx?idNews=103920&idSez=1

Man U should be doing everything possible to sign Ballack, he would make a huge difference on that team

Cris, Alex and Felipe aren't bad. Felipe is actually pretty good for a 19 year old. Yepes I've heard of but haven't seen much of and Nelson, well I'm stumped the problem is they aren't bad but they aren't good either the only one that has potential if Felipe and there are so many better options Helguera (Madrid) Oddo (Lazio), Chivu (Roma), Barzagli, Grosso, Zaccardo (Palermo) I also heard rumors of a Cassano-Vieri swap I'd do that in a heartbeat

I hope Kaka is alright too, I just hope it is nothing to serious but on the brightside this was probaly the best game Milan has played this whole season

Cassano to Madrid? http://www.channel4.com/sport/football_italia/nov23d.html I don't know if Madrid is the best fit for him, because I don't think he would be a first choice striker, but I guess anywhere is better than Roma right now, as he needs to play in order to prepare himself for the world cup

Milan is linked with Cris, Alex, Felipe, Yepes, and Nelson for reinforcements on Defence http://www.goal.com/NewsDetail.aspx?idNews=103171&idSez=1 I'm not a big fan of any of those five, I would be looking at Massimo Oddo of Lazio and Andrea Barzagli of Palermo, or even Komany, but he wants to go to Chelsea http://www.goal.com/NewsDetail.aspx?idNews=103142&idSez=1
