How Rude! Blake Lively Acts Like a Diva on the Gossip Girl Set?

Uh-oh.... Looks like someone might be getting too big for her (designer) britches!

Hot off the (Louboutin) heels of her trip to visit Leo in Australia, Blake Lively (Serena) returned to NYC to get to work on the Gossip Girl set — much to her chagrin, it would seem.

According to a photo agency snapping her pics on-set, Blake was “seen talking angrily on the phone and pointing fingers between her takes” outside the Plaza Hotel on Friday, September 2. Another source claims, “she was not pleasant to the fans and crowds that surrounded the set as she was filming.”

Is all this fame going to B’s head — or is she wearing her (couture) cranky pants because she misses her man?

I'm sure she's just tired of the paps ruining her filming. Here's what her costar (the guy in the vids) said on twitter yesterday:

Filming today:

Pushing forth with another full day in front of the cameras, Blake Lively seemed to be having a marvelous time on the set of 'Gossip Girl' in New York City on Thursday (September 1).

The 24-year-old actress was stylishly clad in her character's garb as she joked around with on-set staffers in between shooting scenes for season five of the hit CW show.

Katch apparently they're going to make it not as grim and there will be a bit of humor as well.

Were you filming alone or with [Mark] Ruffalo or Leo?

My scenes were with Leo. He was very sweet.

It was your first film together, right?

I had never met him before. I liked him very much. You must have done countless interviews with him, right?

Yeah, I have. He’s been on our cover a couple times. He’s a delight to deal with.

I felt like he was really a very cool guy—unpretentious and un-starry. He has enormous presence, but he doesn’t flaunt it at all and is very easy to talk to. Just an unpretentious person and an unpretentious actor, and really down to earth, considering.

Yeah. And there’s something very sweet about Marty and Leo’s relationship and their collaboration. It’s a very quiet respect and a kind of old-fashioned relationship—just lovely to be around. It’s a cool thing to have experienced, and I’m so grateful for it. I think being around Marty makes you feel like you’re in a more noble profession than you sometimes feel you are.

Chloe Moretz stars as a child runaway in grim new movie Hick, with Blake Lively playing her drug-addicted “mentor”! HollywoodLife.com has the script!

Blake Lively‘s new movie Hick, directed by Derick Martini, is not for the faint of heart. The film centers around Luli (Chloe Moretz, 14) a girl who is given a gun for her 13th birthday in the first scene of the movie. Things quickly get darker in the movie as Luli runs away from home and meets Blake’s character Glenda, a 28-year-old meth addict with a troubled past.

Plot Summary:

The film opens with Luli’s 13th birthday party at a bar where she receives a .45 Smith & Wesson gun as a gift. Her parents (played by Juliette Lewis and Anson Mount) get into a drunken argument and she’s escorted away from the bar by Ray, 28, played by Grey’s Anatomy‘s Robert Baker. Ray kisses Luli which gets her thinking about her sexuality, and she begins thinking about using it to her advantage, in order to start a new life. Her parents, who have become estranged after her baby brother was born stillborn, clearly neglect Luli and one day she runs away to hitchhike from Nebraska to Vegas. On the way she encounters Eddie, played by Eddie Redmayne, a man with a limp who seems “kind of off.” She tries to practice flirting with Eddie, but then sees a crazy side of him and leaves. She finds Blake Lively’s Glenda when the older girl almost pees on Luli accidentally on the side of the road. Glenda introduces Luli to meth and then later tries to save her life when

Luli is held captive and sexually abused by Eddie, who as it turns out, used to rape Glenda as well. Luli’s gun makes a surprise appearance at the end of the movie and a double murder is involved.

Memorable Moments:

* Both girls curse, especially 13-year-old Luli, who drops the F-bomb multiple times

* Both Luli and Glenda steal in the movie, and Glenda teaches Luli to pretend shes epileptic to distract a store clerk who ends up having a stroke and falling over on Luli

* Eddie gives Glenda’s 50-year-old husband (who plays a very small part in the film) a drink after he’s peed in it

* Luli is almost raped by an older man in the bathroom, but is saved by Eddie. Unfortunately, Eddie is the one who ends up raping Luli on the side of the road after she calls him a gimp.

* Glenda carries meth around in her purse and gives it to Luli to try because she said she’ll eventually try it and she may as well do it with someone who won’t try anything X-rated

* Glenda is a tragic character, a troubled Southern girl who seems to have good intentions despite her drug problems

* Eddie tricks Luli and kidnaps her, tying her to a bed so she can’t get away. Glenda finds Luli likes this and reveals Eddie made her fall in love with him at this exact age, by torturing and raping her as well. She also reveals a secret about a baby she had, just as Eddie walks in the door to find the girls. Two murders ensue.

The movie tackles some pretty intense issues with rape, drug use, and the loss of innocence. Glenda’s character is tortured but endearing and slightly similar to Blake’s character in The Town. Luli (Chloe) reads as a very bright child who is coming of age in a neglectful home, the kind of girl you want to gather up and protect from all of the indecencies she experiences in the movie. Eddie’s character seems charming at first but the darkness that lies underneath is terrifying.

Here's an interview with the producer of her upcoming movie Hick. I had initially read it but then the site deleted it, then I found a part of it (the most important part anyway) today

Me: How did you end up casting Chloe Moretz? The rest of the cast?

Christian Taylor: After seeing Kick-Ass, I thought Chloe was incredible. It also turned out that she and her agent loved the script, but we were still finding it hard to finance the script. Even with Chloe signed on, films with child actors as the leads are always more difficult to find financing for. So we decided to bring down the budget. Then Charles Deportes, who happens to be Andrea's brother and a hedgefund manager, got involved and ended up raising a large portion of the money we needed. Everything began to fall into place from there. Kirsten Dunst signed onto to star but unfortunately had to drop out due to scheduling conflicts. So we then turned our attention to finding another younger actress to take her place. It just so happens I grew up with Blake Lively's manager and after seeing her performance in The Town, Derick loved her. Her signing on really helped with getting the rest of the money.

Oh and I've read that article soo many times, strangely she's the only one out of the cast that hasn't said anything about leaving or complained about the show or her storylines, she's very professional and just does the job considering the fact that she has the highest profile amongst the cast. However, you can sense her boredom in her acting, she simply doesn't give a shit anymore, she just does her readings and leaves, no effort at all haha. I don't usually criticize her openly, but that's just the truth lol

OF all the seven-bedroom waterfront properties in Sydney, there's a reason Leonardo DiCaprio picked this one.

The environmental activist - who is starting to be known as much for his stance against global warming as his acting - handpicked the grand eastern suburbs domicile because it is one of the only pseudo-carbon neutral homes within the city limits, Confidential has learned.

Known as a domestic combination heating project, the house was fitted out by power-preserving company Urban Energy with a high-tech solar energy system, which enables the whole dwelling, including hot water, pool and spa, to be heated from one dedicated source.

The scheme was commissioned three years ago by long-time owners Gillian and Alastair Walton (the chairman of investment bank firm BKK Partners), who are privately leasing their place to DiCaprio during his Great Gatsby stay.
