Apple Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 Competing for the title of "Master Pick-Up Artist" and $50 grand, Mystery and his wingmen, Matador and J Dog help guide eight lovable losers through their biggest fear--talking to women. Who will rise to the occasion? Who will crack under the pressure? And who will become...The Pick-Up Artist? ~Ep.2 just aired, and so far I think the guy who has low self esteem has a good chance at winning. Quote
Compassionate_Conservative Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 This show is really entertaining. What is Mystery's real name? Quote
Destiny Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 I saw this show I hope these guys actually get some help by Mystery teaching them Quote
TooBoku Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 Mystery seems a bit queer to me. I could see him hitting it off with a lot of girls but I don't think he knows what to do with them after he gets them. Quote
MattLoveModels Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 Dude, i struggle to watch shows like that, it hurts to watch them btw watch this Quote
Apple Posted August 15, 2007 Author Posted August 15, 2007 ^ His real name is Erik Von Markovik Even though he's now a PUA, I can still see his inner nerd just in the subtle ways. Quote
Apple Posted August 22, 2007 Author Posted August 22, 2007 Well looks like the guys are coming out of their shells a little bit. I like it when they reveal the secrets at times....ssecrets!!? *head snaps* Next week is the kissing and makeout field test. Bet that old man wished he could have held out longer.ep2 (previous week)It's not shown in these youtube videos but in the elimination round, you can see Mystery's neck and he totally ripped off Tommy Lee's lip tattoo. Plus he's wearing a hat that I remember Pamela Anderson once wore. At other times I'm convinced he is trying to look like a vampire or something. Here's a primetime special video about PUA a year ago Quote
schadenfreude Posted August 22, 2007 Posted August 22, 2007 Mystery seems a bit queer to me.Mystery is androgynous. Quote
Apple Posted August 27, 2007 Author Posted August 27, 2007 He's 2 steps away from androgyny (at least) come on!These are more vids of Mystery Method techniques Being interestingLast Minute ResistanceFear of the approach Quote
Apple Posted August 29, 2007 Author Posted August 29, 2007 Did he just draw himself a hickey!? And now get ready, this is gonna be disappointing.. a couple contestants are really aspiring actors http://www.sceneinteractive.com/talents/ALVARO/#headshot and this guy (from my name is earl) Quote
TooBoku Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 Just because they're actors, doesn't mean they have game. Quote
Apple Posted August 30, 2007 Author Posted August 30, 2007 I was not doubting the actors put on reality tv aren't w/o dating issues. It's only the unfair advantage they have in memorizing set opener material that concerns me Quote
TooBoku Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 If anything, that's a disadvantage. You can make a "set opener" out of anything if you're interested enough... so long as you be yourself. lol. There's no point in trying if you're not gonna at least do that. A lot of these openers take away from that since it's someone else's material. You can make it your own, but it's a lot easier to make your own up. Quote
