It was an extremely close decision (e.g. I really do like the Marie Claire Turkey ed a lot among a few others), but I guess this is my alltime favourite fashion editorial of Barbara. I remember it was one of her earliest professional modeling jobs and I've always admired that cold, yet strong atmosphere in the pictures. Celebrity Magazine (Germany) some impressions: Quote

I am really sad that her career as a model is at an end but I can understand why she lost interest. Her jobs at the beginning of her career were far better than those in the last years. My interest in Barbara was the beginning of my interest in fashion and models and now (after following quite a few model threads here but mainly on Fashionspot) I see why Barbara had no real chance at a top career. In fact no chance at all on the catwalk. She is simply not built that way - and it is not a question of loosing weight. It is a great pity because she is really beautiful and she is such a good editorial model. I cannot imagine being as fascinated by the work of another model as I am of Barbara's And I wish she would give some hints about her work in Milan (campaigns for small labels) she talked about in an interview. But I fear she has lost interest... Quote
