Will this really hurt Dujardin's Oscar chances like some are saying? I hope not! Princess I know you want Oldman to win so your probably happy lol :p ... but if Dujardin doesn't win I think it'll go to Clooney which is ultimately what I don't want :/

My god!!! People makes controversy of almost everything. I mean is just a poster. Some certain "moral values" ​​amaze me. They called "an attack on the dignity of women", but Clooney using his girlfriends on real life like as an red carpet accessory, I guess that it's acceptable.

But Yes, my poor Gary and Leo always have been renegades by the Academy... I will take them to drink a few margaritas while we see George win the Oscar :(

No, I don't think the poster fuss will take any votes from Dujardin. And if one thought that George & Brad will campaigning like mad, the last few days they seem to be everywhere promoting themselves even though their movies were released long ago.

Yeah with award winning out of the picture, career record breaking seemingly out of the picture as well.... him having a kid would be something so nice to see this year. Though that day just seems so far away.

Remember when it was announced all over that Leo was to become a dad?? I can't believe that it's been almost 5 years since! This imaginary kid should be 5 years old by now!! :laugh:

Yeah even if those posters are a bit distasteful... it's just a friggin movie. It really is nothing to get all worked up over. Though with the academy they seem to like to play favourites and the whole politics issue where sometimes other things come into play rather than just the performances themselves. Anyways, this poster has nothing to do with the quailty of his performance nor undermines it. They're crazy but they can't be that crazy :whistle:

Personally I think Harvey is behind all the fuss , as it brings attention to Dujardin. Harvey knows most people will react as you did that how the studio chose to do their film posters has nothing to do with Dujardin or his Artist performance . And that some might even say "Well if others are not going to vote for him then because of this, I know I will."

I don't know if you recall last year there was all this supposed fuss when Melisssa Leo took out ads for herself since none of the big magazines were doing cover stories on her. And many said they wondered if that would hurt her chances of winning as she might be perceived as being too pushy. Well, since she won we know all of that fuss didn't hurt her , and if anything, just got her more votes .

What , I'm sure Leo would be thrilled as well , or he would be like the little man below doing his best to escape :p

As to the Indy tweets we discussed those the other night, they are just false rumors

As we know from Daily Telegraph article posted yesterday that Leo has two weeks of Gatsby filming to do

So far he has only been there for one week.

Plus one of the outdoor scenes they were trying to do this week has been hampered by rain, and the crew hopes to film it this weekend.

So, mystery solved, Leo is not in Indy or going to Superbowl this coming Sunday :)

The Aussie director wrapping the final two weeks of The Great Gatsby, but is understood to be stuck in a holding pattern because of the recent Sydney rain.

Luhrmann, who is understood to have just two weeks left to film final scenes with key cast members Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire and Carey Mulligan, is holed up in the Blue Mountains waiting to shoot a pivotal outdoor scene. But a break in the weather could ease the pressure this weekend, with (some) sunshine forecast for tomorrow and Sunday.

Thank goodness!!, I was already assuming, or all of these people are really crazy, or one of the friends who Gisele sent the email was Leo and he was there to show support :rofl:
