Michael* Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 I borrowed this idea from another forum and thought it looked like fun. It's mainly for users of Photoshop, or indeed, any kind of image making software. Here's how to play - 1) Go to Wikipedia and click on "Random Article" (Or click this link) The title of the first random Wikipedia article you get will be the name of your artist or band. 2) Go to "The Quotations Page" and click "Random Quotes" (Link) The last few words of the very last quote on the page will be your album's title. 3) Go to Flickr and click on "Explore the Last Seven Days" (Link) Grab the third picture you get, no matter what it is, and crop it to a square. This will be your album cover. 4) Make your album cover and post it! Quote
TheBaronOfFratton Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 Michael*, this does look like fun. Unfortunately my own photoshop skills are pretty ropey! But I wanted to give it a go - quality aint all that, but I wanted you to know I was looking! Quote
Michael* Posted June 11, 2009 Author Posted June 11, 2009 I wasn't sure if the game would catch on so it's very much appreciated - thanks Baron and Vlam for posting Here's a few more - Quote
TheBaronOfFratton Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 ^Hey, I bought this album...It was shit! Quote
TheBaronOfFratton Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 I swear this was simply serendipity - but I'll admit to a slight tinkering of the band name. The actual article was 'Monroe Bank and Trust', I just added the comma for an Emerson, Lake & Palmer feel! I hope the integrity of the game is maintained? Quote
Michael* Posted June 12, 2009 Author Posted June 12, 2009 ^Hey, I bought this album... It was shit! It was such a letdown after their classic first album Absolutely Spiffing. Quote
