Joanna was raised in Chicago, Illinois, USA and now resides in Los Angeles. She has two younger sisters named Marta and Carlina. She is the daughter of hotelier Steven Krupa. She appeared in a pictorial in the July 2005 issue of Playboy. She has also appeared in FHM, Personal, Inside Sport, Stuff, Steppin Out, Teeze magazine and Maxim.
