Shogun Hoowa Posted January 1, 2008 Posted January 1, 2008 As you can probably tell by my name, I am a HUGE Pride FC fan!! It's such a shame that the UFC bought them out. Yarrenoka was good last night though! Quote
COP11 Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 Who can beat Brock Lesnar? Cain I hope. Any more UFC fans? Quote
AnaBBarrosFan Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 *raises hand*Are you pumped for the Carwin/Lesnar fight? And if so, who is your favorite to win? Most media outlets and professionals are saying this is a pretty evenly matched brawl, and I'm tempted to agree. Perhaps the only leg-up Brock has over Shane, is his Div. 1 wrestling skills, where as Carwin is Div. 2. What is hilarious about this, is that we have to get down to something so minuscule to edge someone out over the other. Part of me wants Brock to retain, but the other side of me wants Carwin to keep his crazy 1st Round KO record. Thoughts? Quote
COP11 Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 I want Brock to win. I wanna see him fight Cain. I think Cain can beat him. But either way, Cain gets the next shot as long as he stays healthyCan't wait for Saturday Quote

But either way, Cain gets the next shot as long as he stays healthyCan't wait for Saturday I'm gonna choose a side and say I want Shane to win, just to keep this interesting. lol. As for Cain... I don't know if he can beat Brock, in all honesty. I'm a fan of his (for more than one reason) but I don't think he can dominate Brock. Quote
COP11 Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 I've known Cain for a few years so thats why I want him to champ Quote
AnaBBarrosFan Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 Really? Is he as sweet and wonderful as I think he is? I sound like such a fangirl, don't I? ALSO: I find it odd that a men's sport related thread is being chatted up by ladies. Haha. Quote
Joe > Average Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 I guess this may be a little off topic but I was always surprised Brock was in the heavyweight division since the max is 265 when he looks to be 280 minimum . Quote

Joe > Average Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 Bloody right ! I think they probably want to keep him in the heavyweight division because the superheavyweight is much harder to market because most people find superheavyweight fights boring . Quote

AnaBBarrosFan Posted July 4, 2010 Posted July 4, 2010 I DEMAND A REMATCH!I'M SO FUCKING PISSED RIGHT NOW! ARGH! BROCK RAN LIKE A LITTLE BITCH WHEN HE GOT ROCKED! IF CARWIN HAD BETTER CONDITIONING, HE WOULD'VE RAPED BROCK IN THE MOUTH!!!!I think I'm okay now. Quote
Joe > Average Posted July 4, 2010 Posted July 4, 2010 Yeah, that's true . The only way you (or anyone in the history of fighting in general) can afford to be that unconditioned or less conditioned in general is to be the bigger and stronger one and that wasn't the case . But I think all these early knockouts are what probably made Shane somewhat lazy in that area. But its interresting to see Brock step up on the technical side and also give credit to others in his speech :| . I share your grievance but really enjoyed it other than that . Quote
COP11 Posted July 4, 2010 Posted July 4, 2010 I hope Cain can beat Brock. He has a lot of training to do. But Shane beat the hell out of Brock that first round. I really thought he had him! Chris Leben was awesome last night! I am so proud of him! Quote
COP11 Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 Anyone else hoping that Anderson Silva loses Saturday night? And thoughts on a fight between Nick Diaz and Mayhem Miller? There's a war of words on Youtube between these 2 Quote
