"Paris is where the most magical experiences of her teenage years took place, from friendships to her first kiss"

Model, blogger and trend-setter, Sara Brajovic grew up between Switzerland and Paris where she studied at the École Normale de Musique de Paris.

Her interest in history led her to move to London where she read History at the King’s College before joining the Impressionist department at Sotheby's.

The modelling career took her to New York, her favourite location for observing fashion and travelling trends which she then writes about in her blog filled with tips and recommendations “something she has always done for her friends who used to turn to her for advice on what to wear and where to go”.

Any attempts to label her and what she does prove rather vain; she simply describes herself as follows: "I think that I am just very curious and like to dabble in different ways of expressing myself- art, music, fashion, film. I’ve always been creative and creating things fulfils me. I feel that in this day and age an individual is exposed to so much information and we learn things so quickly that barriers somehow dissolve. My blog is a bit of a reflection on all that- I’ve acted in a couple of movies, am a pianist, am very passionate about modern art and very keen on aesthetics so fashion plays a large part in that. I happen to be very cyber as well- I write and create my blog all by myself."

Relationships and loved ones are her strength; Sara says she turns to her family when she feels she needs to recharge her inner batteries. “My parents were both in the entertainment industry in Italy and France so we understand each other, funnily enough my father started his career by being shot for Vogue Italia and my mother lived in Rome for a very long time before moving to Paris in the 70’s and starting her publishing company a few years later."

The ideal destination to relax and unwind? "Unspoiled places far away from the symbols of capitalism such as Cape Verde". Although Paris, the city where she grew up and, as she recalls – “where I played in parks like Park Ranelagh as a small child, shopped for toys on Av Mozart, walked from home to school and eating gruyere and croissants every day” has a very special place in her heart. To which she adds that it is special also because it was where the most magical experiences of her teenage years took place, from friendships to her first kiss."
