Yes it is really sad that her agency "only" sees a catalogue model in her and not more.   Bonprix is low status and a cheep catalogue, also Lovelyn did Bonprix.

Indeed LIbelle, catalogue jobs give the most money, but... they are not accelerating her carreer. HF jobs, covers and catwalk do this. It is sad that her carreer is not going in the right direction. Very sad.

I miss so many, editorials, covers , more value jobs, possible Elle or Harpers Bazaar. OK IL Corte was the best the last weeks she has delivered and some more, but normally when a model is on the rise

you have every week new and value jobs informations.

See Ivana, she walked at Milan fashion week and her agency Pars is pushing her in the right direction. Now she is awaited in Paris. Also Carolin has many jobs, ok also more commercial but she

is doing a good job in Capetown.

Munich Models does neither list Luisa in their commercial board, nor does any of these catalogue jobs end up in her portfolio.

Yes I know this MikeB, but I thought better you posted this job than nothing.   These are nice pictures for a 08/15 catalogue model, but not for Luisa who was so

promising. After I wrote this, I though, oh it is heavy to write this and not to start again this discussion. I tought of deleating it again but now your post. Yes it is unbelievable

with her agencys. Where is IMG? I don't understand also that they are not updating her portfolio or trying to find value jobs or arranging new test shoots with

good fotogrpahers for her?  Magazine jobs, there are so many magazines one level under Elle and Vogue where sho could have editorials.

Why has she never gone back to NY? All these questions are there and open. What happend wrong etc... Yes her long time with OE and also MM is not 

a agency to bring out topmodels in HF range. Very commercial. But IMG is an agency who has many topmodels and good models under contract. Possible her mother agency is the

problem? Don't know.

I can only repeat myself, we don't know Luisas jobs. Even for most of the shootings she has posted on IG we don't know the results or what they have been for.

She is still an undercover model.... She might work in Paris/Milan/NY, but without anyone telling about it we end up finding her catalogue jobs and nothing else.

Luisa is posting, when she is in another country working. not every job but at least  this information. MM is a commercial agency, like almost

every agency in germany. But in case of MM they don't manage models to become HF girls. Even when they and Model Managament Hamburg are the german part of Elite Models Agency. As long Luisa is staying in with MM she will never have a HF career. IMG cannot do anything without the permission of MM. 

Be realistic there a lot of new promising models in there list, why should they make an effort for a model the mother agency is not trying to make a HF girl?!

We see the same happening with Carolin who has potential. Joana is a commercial girl, Marie became a commercial girl. Lena G aswell and thats why she switched and starts over with Mega Models to become more a fashion girl ( i doubt it will work).

So all and all Luisa is going to be a good working commercial girl.

 

@ Sheila: Lovelyn did Bonprix online shop, Luisa the real catalogue. Thats a huge difference.

 

I wonder if Luisa is still in Cape town? I am also since 6 weeks in Cape town for modeling and met Carolin, Joana and Toni Garrn.

Would love to see Luisa in person ( and tell her to get out of MM and switch to a better agency )

Oh please, don't hesitate. I like you posting any news from Luisa, and I'm sure many people are happy and greatfull for your work even if they say nothing. I think Luisa looks still great,

By the way, in cycle 2 GNTM was C&A cheap clothes campaign a part of prize for winning gntm. Everybody was happy as Barbara won, and nobody complained that she's wearing such cheap clothes in those photos.

Why doesn't she apply by another agency?   Maybe she's happy with her carrier. I think she works a lot and makes some  good money.

I think you can believe Cutlers words, who is a male model of this szene that he can best evaluate the situation! Great to have somebody here like Cutler who personally met Carolin , Joana and Toni Garrn.

 

@ Cutler: I will invite you,  it would be great if you could visit Carolins thread here and tell there a little bit more about your meeting with Carolin . I would be very interested to here about. Have you met her at a shooting?

Yes, please list me, I´m absolutely with Sheila, Cutlers and Alice !! And I´m sad that my comment was the cause of this dispute again, but I think it was better than to see every job of Luisa through rose-colored glasses. We all are very, very true supporter of Luisa, but all the worse is the disappointment (no catwalk, Harpers Bazaar,…).

@Gavin: I don't try to insult Luisa or her career, I am just realistic. I work in this Industry now for many many years.

I think i know what I am talking about. It's a fast that MM is not the best Agency for a good HF career or do you know a model which they developed succesfully in this direction in the last years? No Agency is planning anything for you, if it is not your mother agency. They just gonna try things when the model is in town. But than you going to do the work your portfolio is showing or your MA is saying to the foreign agency. Why did Luisa not do any good editorial while she was in London and just Onlineshop?! Maybe something else will pop up but i doubt it. Luisa should have stayed in NY and go for the Show season. You just need a great look and some good tests if you are a new face and can walk than good shows. Don't get way they send her to Australia or way she never went back.

I am not dissapointed that Luisa is not doing the career we want for her, but we just have to realize that her career gonna be commercial and not high fashion as long she is not switching her MA.

No i haven't met Carolin at a shooting. Met her at a Club, Joana at a Restaurant and Toni on the beach.

One of the best stuff, i have seen of here in a long time.

It shows her true beauty perfectly. She looks very freshfaced and and editorial there.

God I wish she would go back to NY doing a few test shootings before Fashion Week and try all 4 big cities for next season.

I find it strange that there is no trace of her work in Sweden over the last 3-4 months, she has been there several times now. There is a recent Instyle article, where they say she has done advertising deals with Asos, Zalando and H&M, but I'm not sure I trust these german magazines after they claimed she was heading for fashion week Barcelona in february.

I also find it very strange Comtrend, what is going around Luisas work. No information from any side since month about her swedish trips and also Luisa gives not many details or informations.

 

H&M testemonial at moment is Daria Werbowy, possible she did some online lookbooks or something else for H&M , we don't know. What is with editorial work. There are so many nice swedish

magazines like Elle and also Gloria magazine where Carolin shot for. Here we know about her jobs because she alwasy gives the information at instagram.

And H&M only takes topmodels for their print work or as testemonial.

 

This Michael Leis Video is really beautiful. But sad we don't know if it is "only" a test or a job. So it is difficult to find more about.

 

Luisa posted today something from a job in sweden for Nelly? Think again online lookbook? Good that she now informs for what it is. But I don't know Nelly.
