acmilan Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 UFC Live and Ultimate Fighter are on Thurssday Quote
acmilan Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 The Diego Sanchez- Parisyan fight was amazing I don't know how Parisyan didn't get knocked in the last round, especially with that knee that knocked out a tooth Josh Koscheck really impresed me in his fight against Jonathan Goulet (Y) Quote
Jimmy Changa Posted August 20, 2006 Author Posted August 20, 2006 I agree, that tooth flying was amazing...lolThe season 4 opener of UF was very good too. I'm glad the "old guy" beat the cocky punk. This looks to be a good season. Quote

This looks to be a good season. That young was too cocky, and he had jackass smile but I wanted to see the older guy use his crazy spinning fist Quote
Jimmy Changa Posted August 21, 2006 Author Posted August 21, 2006 That spinning back fist IS crazy...but has obviously been effective in the past. After all, people don't expect that. In watching the Sobral fights on UFC Unleased, I think he actually does have a good chance against Liddell. It WILL be interesting to see on Saturday. One thing that will be good about this season of Ultimate Fighter is that these guys all WANT to win. Season 3 had some of those guys who were kinda lame and undecided about if they were serious...like the dude that left 'cause he mised his girlfriend. What a dork...they probably broke up 2 weeks later. Quote

I don't know, I just don't think Sorbel has a chance against Liddell, but I could be wrong But I'm really looking forward to Forrest vs. Bonnar II One thing that will be good about this season of Ultimate Fighter is that these guys all WANT to win. acmilan Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 I think the next PPV is Hughes vs. St. Pierre, that's going to be an awsome fight Any idea what happened to Franklin? I haven't seen him fight for a while now Quote
Jimmy Changa Posted August 27, 2006 Author Posted August 27, 2006 I don't know about Franklin. I was on my way to watch the UFC 62 and I got in a car accident. Sucks. I missed it. Quote

Jimmy Changa Posted August 29, 2006 Author Posted August 29, 2006 yeah, but the truck isn't all that okay. Was quite scary, especially cause I could hardly see due to the monsoon we were in the middle of. I still need to look up the results. Quote

You didn't really miss much Liddell won in like a minute, Sorbell is an idiot I don't know why he tryed to go standup with Liddell Forrest beat Bonnar by decision, but it was the most boring fight of the night St. Pierre got injured so it's Hughes vs. Penn next PPV Quote
Jimmy Changa Posted September 8, 2006 Author Posted September 8, 2006 I've never seen Penn fight, so I guess I'll have to catch the specials before the match. The Ultimate Fighter has been sooooo boring so far this season. Quote

Yeah it has I'm not not a big fan of this season at all, I havn't seen any good fighters, and none of them have any charisma with the exception of Shonie I've only seen Penn once when he fought St. Pierre, he's not bad, but Hughes will probally beat him in the 1st Round Quote
acmilan Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 UFC Live is on tonight I don't know why Shamrock is still fighting <_< I bet Ortiz finishes this one quickly again Kendall Grove, Ed Herman, and Matt Hamill are also fighting Quote
Ack Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 Rich Franklin lost And how! With a couple of great knees. Muay Thai Rules! Quote
acmilan Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 Rich Franklin lost And how! With a couple of great knees. Muay Thai Rules! Those were some killer knees, they definately broke his nose I knew Silva was good, I just didn't think he was that good  And Franklin looked really nervous before that fight Quote
Ack Posted October 21, 2006 Posted October 21, 2006 Those were some killer knees, they definately broke his nose I knew Silva was good, I just didn't think he was that good  And Franklin looked really nervous before that fight He obviously saw the Chris Leben fight who also got destroyed. Dana White didn't really look happy seeing Anderson with the belt. In a couple of hours Pride - The Real Deal starts. Any predictions? Fedor Emelianenko vs Mark Coleman Kevin Randleman vs Mauricio "Shogun" Rua Josh Barnett vs Pawel Nastula Eric "Butter Bean" Esch vs Sean O'Haire Vitor Belfort vs Dan Henderson Robbie Lawler vs Joey Villasenor Phil Baroni vs Yosuke Nishijima Kazuhiro Nakamura vs Travis Galbraith Quote

Quote

I think he was pretty upset too. He know has a non-english speaking champion whom he probably can't market as well as he did with Franklin. Barnett was in the UFC. He won the Heavyweight title against Randy Couture. He's a very good submission wrestler. Coleman, Randleman, and Belfort are also former UFC Champions. A lot of Americans/Canadians don't know PFC. That's why this event is held in Las Vegas for the first time. In Holland we get neither UFC nor PFC, except for some old events on Eurosport, but most MMA fans just download it with bittorrent....so do I If you've never heard of Fedor Emelianenko..Just download any highlight. This guy looks like a teddybear, but he's a monster in the ring. Quote
