threeleggeddog Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 I was paging through an issue of Vogue Paris from 1996 and saw a four-page editorial with a model who reminds me of Canadian actress Missy Peregrym. According to her bio, Missy was born in 1982 and started modeling when she was 18, so it seems like this is too early for her. But maybe they fudged her birth year. What do you think? Anyone know who this is? I can do better scans if it would help. I just took photos of the four pages, and added close-ups of her face.
threeleggeddog Posted March 11, 2013 Author Posted March 11, 2013 Sorry, I see this should be in the vintage thread. I can't figure out how to delete my thread, however.
modelknowledge Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 It is Mini Anden but for future reference:1. thats not Missy Peregrym. She was commercial model. Never high fashion despite what the internet says. If she were a fashion model, there would be old images of her floating around the internet.2. that model could be around the age of Missy Peregrym because high fashion models start as young 13 or 14 back then. (now its like 11 lol)3. vogue labels there models. check the inside crease of the magazine or at the last few pages. look for the word mannequin.

modelknowledge Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 Never go by FMD, its user generated. There are glamour models who have profiles and models with numerous Vogue covers who don't have profiles.
