Xerus Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 Belles is a premiere Brazilian brand, and there is precious little to help finding this model, which is odd. This is a 2012 shoot. Anyone recognize the model? She looks familiar but I just can't place her at the moment. Quote
Xerus Posted November 6, 2016 Author Posted November 6, 2016 Thanks for your try bebop2015, but I can't find an intersection of that name and belles. Besides, I've usually found South American brands use local talent. Brazilian lingerie uses Brazilian models, Columbian lingerie/swimwear uses similar country-women, etc. Not always the case but that's been my id experiences trying to find these more difficult brands. Before Mega Models became MP Mega and then MP Miami, they were owned or in partnership with Mega Models in Brazil. A lot of their top catalog models were signed to this agency in Medellin. Even if the models weren't signed in Medellin, I found they were walking in Colombian runway shows and even booking Colombian work due to the relationship with Mega Models. Kohl's always booked from Minneapolis. Ford bought out the one agency Kohl's booked from the most. When it didn't produce well enough, Ford liquidated it and amassed all its clients. Ford Chicago was known for booking these clients as well as Elite Chicago which turned to Factor which then merged with Chosen. By that time, all the major agencies in New York were booking them. This is why big agencies have these small satellite agencies or franchise their name out hoping they fail and they gain their clients by acquiring their bookers. LOL. In short, always check Miami when it comes to South America. There are so many Brazilian and Colombian models who don't have agencies in their mother land, yet retain the clients they had when they did have an agency in their homeland. Its very common for models to retain clients without working in that country anymore, especially well known catalogs. Quote
