She moved to Europe and was soon cast as Maria Callas for Vogue Italia, shot by the much sought after photographer Javier Vallhonrat. Though skeptical of the fashion business and all it entailed, Carol continued to be a frequent presence on the pages of Vogue, Harper’s and Queen, Tatler, Marie Claire, L’Officiel, and many others magazines during her particularly impressive career. She worked with many photographers and video directors namely Peter Lindbergh, Mario Testino, Robert Erdmann, Ellen von Unwerth, Stephane Sednaoui, Javier Valhonrat, Bettina Rheims, Jean Loup Sief, Nadir, Gian Paolo Barbieri, Giovanni Gastel and others. Noted for her elegance and her ability to interpret various roles, Carol worked for many illustrious designers.
