Schemer Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 I kinda dislike the photos. Elsa looks good but the coloring is really stupid, looks like some cheapo instagram filter. Also aren't they supposed to sell swimsuits? Shouldn't the photos show true color? This shoot looks like it was done by Zack Snyder (Man of Steel). Quote

The images aren't going to show the true colour of the product, and people are going to be angry when their items show up looking totally different. Quote

The colouring is a bit weird but from a photographers point of view I get it. It works I like it a lot. It's different for VS and isn't just the usual catalog shots in front of the beach. I think when it's all edited together in one of their swim catalogs it will look really cool. They're selling the beach vacation, relaxed nature etc. Quote

They're selling the beach vacation, relaxed nature etc. I agree. I like the editorial feel of them for their big catalogs like they did with some of their fall and Christmas stuff. It makes them stand out and I think it's a cool new idea. I, however, think the coloring is a mistake because like people have mentioned, they don't show the true color of the product and that's a bit stupid. Love the adds! She's quickly becoming one of my favorite models. Quote
