His work has reached different countries and has garnered praise by the aformentioned publications as well as Vanity Fair. Nico defines his portraits as an intimate confrontation with his subjects. His images are known to be elegantly constructed works of sensual symmetry. His expressive power and graphic effectiveness are undeniable. His pictures are a combination of high-end technique, a sophisticated imaginary world and a perfectionist eye. His fascination with beauty started at a young age. He often dreamt of women like Sophia Loren, Marilyn Monroe and Lola Flores who personified iconic beauty and high society status. When he was 15 his father bought him a black and white film developing kit. He then started experimenting with light and different techniques.
