This is Amazon prime's youtube top comment OMG:rofl::

"Evil cannot create anything new, they can only corrupt and ruin (what) good forces have invented or made.”

actual quote:

“No, they eat and drink, Sam. The Shadow that bred them can only mock, it cannot make: not real new things of its own. I don’t think it gave life to the orcs, it only ruined them and twisted them; and if they are to live at all, they have to live like other living creatures. Foul waters and foul meats they’ll take, if they can get no better, but not poison. They’ve fed me, and so I’m better off than you. There must be food and water somewhere in this place. (The Return of the King, VI,1).”

Hmm

I think he is right when he says that Galadriel isn't supposed to wear swords & armor.  There was a Vanity fair interview with the showrunners released and they reveal that they put some woke-ish plotlines and changes.  They made Galadriel into a warrior type, instead of near elf goddess she is in Tolkein.

IF M-Clark pulls this one off at best she could be like Lagethera/Katherine Winnick (did the best job of a hot warrior woman I've ever seen).

Odd that this movie is what the LOTR show runner brings up about M-Clark.  The role is very depressed/neurotic.  I kind of like her face, she has a very "medieval" look to her, like that was considered angelic for artists in those times.  :

I finished the Simarillion audiobook and am halfway through the Hobbit.

The simarillion is basically a lore dump, rather disjointed and very boring.  I frequently tuned out while listening to it.  The Wikia is probably a better use of time as the information/lore is well organized.

The Hobbit is the "children's book" version of LOTR, and it shows.  It's alright.  I am eager to finish it and get into LOTR.

I heard that Amazon paid a gigantic sum just for the appendix!!! of the LOTR.  So basically the whole show is going to be invented outside of background information.
