I want to know which movie has best fight scene. Not any fight scene. I want the one where they fight using sais (my fave weapon). I haven't seen many fight scenes suing sais yet. So far, I think matrix reloaded has the best sai fight scene... Has anyone watched Electra yet? Quote

discostu Posted February 6, 2005 Posted February 6, 2005 ive seen an 8th degree blackbelt use sais in class before...that was pretty cool..and nunchakus....and those tai chi sword things...and a staff...and a katana...and tanfas and a spear and one of those 3 piece sticks that is connected by chains (which looks really freaking awesome when used correctly)...dont know if it counts though Quote

fremont Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 Alright, the best mob/mafia scene is from Miller's Crossing, done by the the Coen Brothers. It starts with two guys toting tommy guns walking up a long staircase and only their feet are showing. They are going to murder the boss in bis bedroom. The proper (and awesome!) shootout ensues while "Danny Boy" is playing on the boss's radio. It lasts about 4 minutes and is quite remarkable - better than any one scene int the Godfather or Goodfellas. Quote

There's that scene where Indiana Jones (played by Harrison Ford) encounters an Arab with a huge machete and he kills him with a single shot from his gun. They're effective at disabling swords because you can twist your wrist and break the sword leaving your sai intact. "Ninja Stars" also aren't weapons. As far as my favorite scene ever, hmm.....I don't know if I could pin that down to just one. But currently I'm quite infatuated with the scene in ROTS where Anakin/Vader is on Mustafar. Quote
