Marta832 Posted December 16, 2022 Posted December 16, 2022 Hi! I got into Boston University and I plan to live and study in Boston for the next couple of years. My parents have found me a beautiful apartment and have arranged to rent it. I am already anticipating my new life in my own home in the best city in Massachusetts. All that's left to do is move in. Give me some tips on how to move in general, because I've never moved anywhere. Quote
Stiv90 Posted December 20, 2022 Posted December 20, 2022 Actually, Massachusetts is a state, not a city. But I see they were already so happy about the new move that they confused the city of Boston with the state. It happens. Well, if we are already talking about moving, then it is really best to immediately order a moving company. Such companies are very popular in Massachusetts, especially since they work for long distances. Quote
Nimfa Posted December 20, 2022 Posted December 20, 2022 Yes, that's right the city of Boston in Massachusetts. Many people study and work there, and many people move to Boston. The city is very beautiful and very cultural in every sense of life.About to move if you have not tried to try to gradually gather their things. So you'll only have to call the movers and transport from the mover company, they will bring to the place. You can arrange to collect your things. Nimfa Posted December 22, 2022 Posted December 22, 2022 By the way a very good company you were advised there are qualified movers with experience. When I move I always go through all your unnecessary things, give away to those in need of clothes for example, which I do not wear or do not fit at all I give and advise you to disassemble all the good to take with them Quote
Alfonzo Posted December 23, 2022 Posted December 23, 2022 You can save money by comparing moving companies. Many companies only quote part of the cost of delivery, not the full cost. If I were you, I would look at the recommended company Quote
Queen B Posted October 8 Posted October 8 I'm moving into my new house next week and could use some help with the move. If anyone has recommendations for a good moving company that provides reliable service, I'd really appreciate it Quote
mayhem04 Posted October 8 Posted October 8 For a smooth move, I’d recommend checking out local moving companies that have good reviews and offer transparent pricing. It might also help to ask for quotes from a few different companies to compare services and find the best fit for your needs. Quote
tkv93 Posted October 14 Posted October 14 I recently read an article, and it highlighted the importance of planning your move ahead of time. Boston’s neighborhoods can be quite distinct, so choosing the right area that suits your lifestyle is crucial. Also, traffic in Boston can be a challenge, especially during peak hours, so scheduling your move during off-peak times can save you a lot of hassle. If you’re new to the city, researching local resources and community groups can also make settling in easier. These tips on 10 Things to Know Before Moving to Boston, Massachusetts can be really helpful as you prepare for your upcoming move! Quote
Queen B Posted October 15 Posted October 15 Hey, congrats on getting into Boston University! That’s such an awesome achievement! When it comes to moving, I found it super helpful to start packing well in advance and label my boxes so I knew where everything was. Setting up my bedroom first made it feel more like home right away. Don’t be afraid to ask friends for help or look into hiring movers if you can; it makes a big difference. Quote
PeterStyle Posted October 16 Posted October 16 Have you been to Boston before? What do you think of this city? If I'm not mistaken, there is a moving service here that operates throughout Massachusetts. I was in Boston not too long ago with my family. We took a family tour and rented a van from 8Rental because we have a big family. Boston is a beautiful city and I would love to live there too. Quote
Anasxs Posted October 17 Posted October 17 I would like to visit. Last year I was planning being in Statal Jobs but now I am waiting the Judgements call about the moobing I was receiving, out of my taste. Quote
